In 2013, I hit the lowest point in my adult life. On the outside I looked like I had it all together with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UC Berkeley, as well as a Licensed Clinician and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, but if you glimpsed behind the curtain you would’ve seen a different picture…
I got turned down for a promotion not once but three times, and was wondering if I even had what it took.
My daughter was struggling, my adoptive mother's caregiving needs increased exponentially and I was slowly sinking.
